The Royal Pop is a collaboration between Swatch and Audemars Piguet that borrows the Royal Oak's octagonal look and puts it on a pocket watch, not a wristwatch. It is made in Swatch's Bioceramic material and sold on a calfskin lanyard. Swatch released it in May 2026 through its boutiques, which is where it differs most from a Royal Oak: you cannot buy it from Audemars Piguet, and it costs a small fraction of the real thing.

Because the release was boutique-only and drew crowds, two prices matter. One is the retail price Swatch charges. The other is the price on resale sites, which reflects scarcity and not the value of the watch. This page keeps them separate.

The Royal Pop is a hand-wound pocket watch with a sapphire crystal, according to SJX, and its inner case can be popped out of the frame and swapped for another color. Frames can be bought separately, and one is priced at $45 including the lanyard. Swatch also offers a stand that turns the watch into a desk clock.

There is no official way to wear it on the wrist. If you were hoping for a Royal Oak look on your wrist at a Swatch price, this is not that watch, and the collaboration says so in its format. Treat it as a collectible or a novelty with a real mechanism inside.

Demand was high at launch, and secondary-market listings appeared within days. The figures below are the lowest asking prices a source noticed on 20 May 2026, a few days after the release.

These are asking prices, not completed sales, and they reflect launch-week excitement. They are likely to move. A seller can list at any number, and the existence of a listing at a high price does not mean anyone paid it.
