Moz Pro is an SEO software suite from Moz. Site owners, marketers, and agencies use it for keyword research, rank tracking, site crawls, and link analysis, including Moz's Domain Authority score. The plans differ mainly in limits: how many sites you can track, how many keywords and pages you can monitor, and how many queries you can run.

On monthly billing, Moz Pro costs $99/mo for Standard, $179/mo for Medium, and $299/mo for Large.

Standard

Standard, at $99/mo, is the entry plan. It covers the core tools: keyword research, a limited number of tracked sites and keywords, site crawls, and link research. It suits a freelancer or small business tracking one or a few sites.

Medium

Medium costs $179/mo. It raises the limits on tracked keywords, crawled pages, and research queries, and adds features that are not available on Standard. For many in-house marketers and small agencies, Medium is the plan that balances cost and room to grow.

Large

Large costs $299/mo and has the highest limits of the three plans in our data. It is built for agencies and teams managing several client sites. Moz also offers bigger custom plans for heavier use, quoted separately.

Paying for a year up front lowers the effective monthly price of every plan. The table shows the monthly equivalent when you pay yearly.

Standard drops from $99/mo to $79/mo, Medium from $179/mo to $143/mo, and Large from $299/mo to $239/mo. Yearly billing makes sense once you know Moz Pro fits your work. If you are still comparing SEO tools, monthly billing lets you cancel without paying for months you will not use.

Each plan includes a set number of user seats. If more people on your team need their own login, you can add seats.

An additional user seat costs $49/mo per seat on any plan. For a team of several people, compare the total for extra seats with the next plan up, since a higher plan may include more seats.

Other Moz products are billed separately from Moz Pro:

• Moz Local: manages business listings for local SEO and has its own subscription.
• Moz API: gives developers programmatic access to Moz data under a separate plan.
• STAT: Moz's enterprise rank tracking tool is priced separately for large keyword sets.

Sales tax may be added to your bill depending on your state.

• Standard: you manage one or two sites and need keyword research, rank tracking, and audits.
• Medium: you track more keywords or run more research than Standard allows, or you need features missing from Standard.
• Large: you run SEO for several clients or large sites and need the highest limits.

The tracked keyword and crawl limits are the main reason to move up. Check how many keywords you want to track and how many pages your site has before you choose. Moz also has free tools, such as Domain Analysis and Keyword Explorer, with limited queries, and it has offered Moz Pro free trials at times.

Semrush, Ahrefs, and SE Ranking compete with Moz Pro on keyword research, rank tracking, and backlink data. Their databases, limits, and plan structures differ. Running the same keyword and domain checks in each tool's free version or trial shows which data you trust most for your sites.
