Speechify also has a free version of the reader with a basic set of voices and fewer features. Monthly vs. Annual Billing for Premium

Speechify also sells Premium on annual billing, which usually costs less per month than paying month to month. We do not have a verified annual Premium price, so check the official pricing page for the current yearly rate before deciding.

Monthly billing is the safer choice if you only need Speechify for one semester, a single project, or a trial period. Annual billing makes more sense if you already listen most days and expect to keep doing so.

Speechify Studio is a separate product for creators and businesses. It generates AI voiceovers for videos, presentations, training material, and podcasts, and it includes tools such as AI dubbing. Studio plans are sold on yearly billing.

Studio Starter, at $100/yr, is meant for small projects and occasional voiceovers. Studio Creator, at $300/yr, is aimed at people who produce voiceovers regularly and need more generation time and features.

A Studio plan does not replace the reader app, and a Premium reader subscription does not include Studio. If you only want documents read aloud, you need Premium, not Studio.

If you subscribe through the Apple App Store or Google Play, the store handles billing and the price may differ from the web. Cancellation also goes through that store. Sales tax may be added depending on your state.

Free trials of Premium may convert to a paid subscription automatically when they end. Set a reminder if you plan to cancel before the first charge.
