Disney Dining Plan Cost: Prices, Fees & Ways to Save

Updated  2 sources

Typical price

$60.47 – $98.59

The Disney Dining Plan is a prepaid meal package for guests staying in Walt Disney World resort hotels. Instead of paying at each restaurant, you buy a set number of meal and snack credits for every night of your stay, then spend them at participating locations. The plan is billed per person, per night, so the total depends on party size and trip length.

Two plans are on sale for 2026. The Quick-Service plan covers counter meals and snacks, and the Regular plan adds table-service dining. The sections below cover the 2026 prices, what each credit buys, how to judge whether the plan pays off, and what changes for 2027.

Disney Dining Plan prices for 2026

Both plans are priced per person, per night. Guests ages 10 and up pay the higher rate, and children ages 3 to 9 pay a lower rate.

Quick-Service plan, ages 10+ $60.47
Quick-Service plan, ages 3-9 $26.16

The Quick-Service plan costs $60.47 per adult and $26.16 per child. The Regular plan costs $98.59 per adult and $31.94 per child. Children ages 3 to 9 can get the plan free on eligible 2026 packages when the adults in the room also buy a plan, so look at the package terms before you add up a family total.

What the plans include

Each night you get a set number of credits.

  • Quick-Service plan: 2 quick-service credits and 1 snack credit per person, per night.
  • Regular plan: 1 quick-service credit, 1 table-service credit, and 1 snack credit per person, per night.
  • Both plans include a refillable resort mug per person for the stay. The mug refills at resorts but not in the parks.

Quick-service credits are for counter meals, table-service credits are for sit-down restaurants, and snack credits cover smaller items. Some restaurants take more than one credit for a meal, so check the credit cost before you book.

Is the Disney Dining Plan worth the cost?

The plan pays off only when the food you order is worth at least what you paid for the credits. Think of each credit as a minimum bar. Based on one planning source, you need to order food worth roughly the following to break even on a credit.

Break-even credit value

Item Price
Quick-service credit, target value $24
Table-service credit, target value $60
Snack credit, target value $7

Source: WDW Prep School: Disney Dining Plan

A quick-service credit needs about $24 of food, a table-service credit needs about $60, and a snack credit needs about $7. If you routinely order a light breakfast and a cheap lunch, you will probably spend less out of pocket. If you like steak, seafood, or a signature restaurant, the plan can cover meals that would otherwise cost far more.

Beverages matter too. Alcohol, specialty drinks, and festival items can use credits in ways that beat paying cash, but they can also burn a credit on something cheap. Hold table-service credits for higher-priced meals, and avoid spending snack credits on bottled water when cash would cost less.

The plan also buys convenience. You stop looking at menu prices, which some families value on its own. If that peace of mind is worth a premium to you, the plan works even when the math is close.

Disney Dining Plan prices for 2027

A second planning source lists the 2027 plan rates, which rise modestly for the Quick-Service and Regular plans. It also lists a Deluxe plan for 2027 that is not offered in 2026.

2027 plan price per person, per night

Item Price
Quick-Service plan, ages 10+ $62.78
Quick-Service plan, ages 3-9 $25.82
Table-Service plan, ages 10+ $99.87
Deluxe Table-Service plan, ages 10+ $163.01
Deluxe Table-Service plan, ages 3-9 $46.85

For 2027, the Quick-Service plan is listed at $62.78 per adult and $25.82 per child. The Table-Service plan is $99.87 per adult. The Deluxe plan, which adds a second table-service credit each night, is $163.01 per adult and $46.85 per child. These amounts are approximate and can vary with package details.

What affects what you pay

  • Party size and ages. Children 10 and up pay the adult rate.
  • Trip length. The plan bills for each night, so a week costs seven times the nightly rate.
  • Package offers. Disney sometimes waives the child price on eligible packages, which changes the math quickly.
  • Which plan you pick. The Quick-Service plan costs less but covers only counter meals.
  • Where you eat. Restaurants that cost two credits, such as some signature meals, can erase the savings.

Ways to save on food at Disney World

  • Run your own numbers with the restaurants you plan to visit before you buy. Add up menu prices and compare them with the plan total.
  • Bring snacks and refillable bottles into the parks where allowed.
  • Skip the plan if you plan to eat off property or prefer light meals.
  • Ask about free dining or kids-eat-free offers when you book a package, and read the terms.
  • Check Disney's official site for current plan prices, since rates are set per package and may change.
