Disneyland Parking Cost: Prices, Fees & Ways to Save

Updated  1 source

Theme park parking per day

$40 – $60

If you drive to Disneyland Resort in Anaheim, California, you pay a daily fee to park near the theme parks. The price depends on the type of vehicle and on whether you choose a standard or preferred space. Guests staying at a Disneyland Resort hotel pay a separate nightly rate.

All prices on this page are published by Disneyland on its official parking page and were checked on Oct 11, 2026. Disney can change parking rates, so confirm the current price on the official Disneyland parking page before your visit.

Disneyland Parking Prices by Vehicle Type

The daily theme park rate is set by vehicle. A car or motorcycle costs $40. Larger vehicles pay more: an oversized vehicle, motor home or tractor without a trailer costs $45, and a bus or tractor with an extended trailer costs $50.

Cars and motorcycles can use any of the three standard parking locations: the Mickey & Friends Parking Structure, the Pixar Pals Parking Structure and the Toy Story Parking Area. Oversized vehicles and buses with trailers park only at the Toy Story Parking Area.

Is Preferred Parking Worth It?

Preferred parking costs $60 per day. You get a space closer to the elevators or escalators in the parking structure. It does not get you into the parks any faster.

Preferred spaces are available at all three parking locations, but their number is limited and they depend on availability. You buy preferred parking when you arrive, and a Cast Member directs you to a spot. If you already paid for standard parking, you can pay the difference at a toll booth to upgrade for that day.

Preferred parking can make sense if you have small children, a stroller to load or someone with limited mobility in your group. For most visitors, the standard rate and the tram ride are enough.

How You Get From the Parking Structure to the Parks

Disneyland runs a tram from the Mickey & Friends and Pixar Pals parking structures to the Main Entrance Esplanade. The esplanade sits between Disneyland Park and Disney California Adventure Park, so you can walk to either entrance from the tram stop.

The Disneyland app has a free car locator. It can save your parking spot at select locations so you can find your car at the end of the day.

Disneyland Hotel Parking Rates

Guests at Disneyland Resort hotels pay per night, per vehicle, plus tax. Self-parking costs $45 a night, and valet parking costs $75. Oversized vehicles pay $50 a night.

On a multi-night stay, the hotel parking charge adds up quickly. Multiply the nightly rate by the number of nights, then add tax, to see the real cost before you decide between parking at the hotel and another option.

Ways to Save on Disneyland Parking

  • Pay for standard parking ahead of time. Disney offers advance payment for standard parking, which can save time at the toll booth.
  • Skip preferred parking unless you need the shorter walk.
  • Carpool. The fee is charged per vehicle, so one car with a full group costs less per person than two cars.
  • Get dropped off. If someone else drives or you use a rideshare, you do not need to park. Disney asks drivers to use its official pick-up and drop-off areas.
  • Price a nearby hotel with free or cheaper parking if you plan to stay several nights and walk to the parks.

Electric Vehicle Charging

A limited number of ChargePoint charging ports are located in the Mickey & Friends Parking Structure, the Pixar Pals Parking Structure and the Toy Story Parking Area. You need a ChargePoint card to use them. Ask a Cast Member for directions to a port. Charging terms are set by ChargePoint, not by Disney.
