Mercedes GLB 250 Price: MSRP, Trims & Real-World Cost

Updated  3 sources

Starting MSRP

$43,800

The GLB is Mercedes-Benz's compact SUV, and the GLB 250 has been its entry model. The prices on this page apply to the gas-powered GLB that Mercedes-Benz USA currently lists. A new, electric GLB has been announced, and a U.S. price for it was not available when this page was written. If you are waiting for the new generation, read the section below before you compare numbers.

GLB price by trim

Price by trim (MSRP, excl. destination)

Item Price
Mercedes-Benz GLB 250 SUV $43,800
Mercedes-Benz GLB 250 4MATIC SUV $45,800
Mercedes-AMG GLB 35 SUV $60,600

Sources: Mercedes-Benz USA: GLB SUV models; Mercedes-Benz USA: AMG GLB SUV models

The GLB 250 SUV is listed at $43,800. The GLB 250 4MATIC SUV, with all-wheel drive, is listed at $45,800. The performance version, the Mercedes-AMG GLB 35 SUV, is listed at $60,600.

Mercedes-Benz USA does not show model years on these listings, so treat them as current MSRPs. All three exclude destination, taxes, and dealer fees.

Third-party starting price

Item Price
2026 Mercedes-AMG GLB-Class starting price (Car and Driver) $61,950

Source: Car and Driver: Mercedes-Benz GLB-Class

Car and Driver lists the 2026 Mercedes-AMG GLB-Class at $61,950. That is higher than the manufacturer's figure for the AMG GLB 35. The two numbers may differ because sources define the starting point differently, for example by whether destination or a particular package is included. For buying, the manufacturer's page and a written dealer quote are the figures that count.

What about the new electric GLB?

The next GLB generation is electric. The prices above belong to the existing gas model. The new electric GLB does not yet have a published U.S. price in the sources used for this page, and its trim names and equipment may differ from the current lineup.

If you are considering the new generation, check Mercedes-Benz USA for the new generation's price and availability before you decide. If you would rather buy the gas GLB, ask your dealer how long they expect to have them in stock, since a model in transition can be harder to find in the trim you want.

GLB 250 or GLB 250 4MATIC?

The only difference captured in the price list is the drive system. The 4MATIC version adds all-wheel drive for the cost visible in the table. Buyers in snowy areas may prefer it. If you drive in a mild climate, the standard GLB 250 may do the job at a lower price. Verify the specification on Mercedes-Benz USA.

What affects the final price?

  • Destination. Added on top of the MSRP, and not included above.
  • Packages. Premium, technology, and driver assistance packages are priced separately.
  • Seating. If seven seats matter to you, confirm how the seating is offered on the version you want.
  • Taxes and fees. State sales tax, title, registration, and dealer documentation fees vary.
  • Dealer pricing. Compare quotes from more than one dealer.

New or pre-owned GLB?

A pre-owned GLB is an option if you want to spend less, and earlier model years have different features. Ask for the service history, check recalls on nhtsa.gov, and have an authorized Mercedes-Benz service department or independent specialist inspect the SUV. Certified pre-owned vehicles add a manufacturer-backed warranty, so find out what the coverage includes.

Cost of ownership

Budget for insurance, scheduled service, tires, fuel, registration, and depreciation. A gas GLB uses fuel, and an electric one would shift part of that cost to charging. Compare running costs once the new model's specifications are published.

How to get the current price

Build a GLB on Mercedes-Benz USA's website, then ask an authorized dealer for an itemized, written quote that shows the base price, packages, destination, taxes, and fees.
