ClickUp is a project management platform that combines tasks, docs, chat, dashboards and goals in one workspace. It charges per user, with a free plan, two main paid plans, a custom Enterprise tier and an AI add-on. What you pay depends on the plan, the number of people, and whether you pay yearly or monthly.

Paying month to month raises the per-user price on both paid plans. Yearly billing is cheaper for teams that plan to stay.

Monthly billing suits a short project or a trial period. The extra cost per user adds up quickly on a large team, so compare the two columns before choosing.

The free plan has no price and is meant for individuals and very small teams. It includes unlimited tasks and members, but storage is limited, and several features are capped.

Unlimited removes those limits on storage, integrations, dashboards and custom fields. It adds Gantt charts, goals, time tracking and guests with permission control. For many small teams, this is the plan that makes ClickUp usable day to day.

Business adds advanced dashboards, automation, mind maps, whiteboards, workload management and Google single sign-on, along with larger automation allowances. It makes sense once several teams share a workspace and you need reporting and control over how work is distributed.

Enterprise is custom. It adds advanced permissions, single sign-on options, audit logs and more support. ClickUp prices it through sales.

ClickUp sells its AI features separately from the seat price. The page lists a Brain AI add-on.

The AI add-on is charged per user on top of the plan price, so a whole team using it raises the bill noticeably. Some features come with limits, such as credits, and the page lists usage allowances. If you only want AI for a few people, check whether the add-on can be assigned to a subset of the team.

User count is the biggest factor. Every paid member adds the plan price, and guests may be handled differently depending on the plan.

Plan level is next. Moving from Unlimited to Business raises the per-user price, so be sure the extra dashboards, automation and administration are worth it.
