Life Time sets dues club by club, so the answer to "how much does Life Time cost?" depends on which club you join. A suburban club in the Midwest and a club in a dense, expensive market can differ by well over a hundred dollars a month. Any single number you see quoted online describes one club, not the whole chain.

The figures below are the "starting at" prices shown on Life Time's own membership pages for several clubs, checked on Oct 13, 2026. They are examples that show the spread, not a complete list. Rates, fees, and charges can vary by location and can change, so look up your own club on the Life Time site.

Across the clubs listed here, the lowest starting price is $149/mo in Omaha and the highest is $339/mo in Green Valley. In between, Troy is $159/mo, Tempe is $179/mo, Raleigh is $199/mo, and Princeton is $259/mo. A mid-market club such as Houston City Centre starts at $249/mo.

Those are the prices for one adult at the base level on each club's page. Your total changes with who you add to the membership and which tier you pick.

Each club page lists several membership types. Using Omaha as the example, the same club offers different prices depending on tier and age.

At that club, Signature costs $179/mo for the first adult, Standard costs $149/mo, and the 26 and Under tier costs $129/mo. Signature includes the full set of luxury amenities, while Standard is the lower-priced option. A tier that exists at one club may be priced differently, or named differently, at another.

Life Time also lists a 65 Plus membership on its club pages. Ask your club for the current price for your age.

• The club. Market size and local costs are the biggest factor, which is why Omaha and Green Valley sit so far apart.
• The tier. Signature, Standard, 26 and Under, and 65 Plus are priced separately.
• Who is on the membership. Adding a spouse, partner, or children changes the monthly total, so the first-adult price is only the start.
• Extras. Add-ons such as certain court access, child care, or personal training can be billed on top of dues. Ask what your plan includes.

Dues are one line on the bill. Before you join, ask the club about:

• Any joining or enrollment fee, and whether the club is running a promotion that changes it.
• Any surcharge or add-on fees that apply at your location. Club pages carry a note that pricing, fees, and charges may vary by location.
• Costs for guests, classes outside your plan, and services like training.

Ask for the full monthly total in writing, including every recurring charge, so you can compare it to other gyms on equal terms.

Life Time is a large-format club with pools, spas, studios, and cafes at many locations. That is the reason dues sit well above budget gyms. Whether it is worth the price depends on how much of the club you will actually use. If you go to the weight floor twice a week, a cheaper gym will do the same job. If you use classes, the pool, and the family services, the higher dues buy more.

A practical test is to price your real routine at two or three gyms near you, including fees, and compare the yearly total instead of the monthly number.

• Compare clubs if you live between two. A nearby club in a lower-priced market can have noticeably lower dues.
• Check whether you qualify for a lower tier, such as 26 and Under or 65 Plus.
