Verizon Unlimited Ultimate Price: Plans, Monthly Cost & Fees

Updated  5 sources

Price per line

$60 – $95/mo

Unlimited Ultimate is the highest tier of Verizon's myPlan lineup. It bundles Verizon's premium network access with the largest hotspot and international allowances in the family, so it is also the most expensive way to buy unlimited service from the carrier.

Two things changed in 2026. Verizon raised the price of Ultimate in May, and in June it launched a flat-rate Simplicity Plan as its flagship. Ultimate is still sold under myPlan, but it is no longer the headline offer. The prices below come from Verizon, as captured in an archived copy dated Oct 14, 2026. Verizon changes prices and promotions often, so confirm the figure on the carrier's own plans page before you sign up.

How much does Verizon Unlimited Ultimate cost per line?

The more lines you add, the lower the cost for each one. A single line is $95/mo, two lines are $85/mo each, and three lines are $70/mo each. From four lines up, each line costs $60/mo.

To get a monthly total, multiply the per-line figure by the number of lines. These are plan prices before taxes and fees, and your bill will show surcharges on top.

Price with and without Auto Pay

The prices above assume Auto Pay with paper-free billing. Verizon states that skipping Auto Pay adds $10/mo for each line. For a single line, a third-party plan listing shows the list price without the discount.

Without Auto Pay

Item Price
Cost per line more without Auto Pay $10/mo
1 line without Auto Pay (list price) $105/mo

If you prefer to pay by card or by hand, budget for the higher figure. Verizon has tied the discount to specific payment methods, so read the Auto Pay terms before assuming a credit card qualifies.

Promotions and the May 2026 price increase

Verizon often advertises lower per-line prices for four lines when a promotional account credit applies. CNET reported a promotional figure for four lines of $57.50/mo per line, and the credit is tied to staying on the plan. Treat promotional pricing as temporary and check which conditions apply.

Price history (before May 2026 increase)

Item Price
1 line before May 2026 increase $90/mo
2 lines before May 2026 increase $80/mo
3 lines before May 2026 increase $65/mo
4+ lines before May 2026 increase $55/mo

Earlier in 2026 the same plan cost less. The table above shows what Verizon listed before the May increase. Compared with the current prices, each line count moved up by the same step.

Fees to expect on a new line

Verizon lists an activation fee of $40 for new lines unless you opt in to its Loyalty program, which the carrier says waives activation and upgrade fees. Taxes and regulatory fees are separate and vary by location.

Ultimate versus the newer Simplicity Plan

Simplicity Plan is a flat-rate option that Verizon markets as having no tiers. Its Auto Pay price for one line is $45/mo, which is well below the single-line Ultimate price above. Verizon also advertises a lower rate for people who switch from another carrier, though the offer changes.

The tradeoff is features. Ultimate's higher price pays for the extras that Verizon and reviewers describe as its main draws: more hotspot data, international travel perks, and better phone offers when you buy or upgrade. If you rarely travel abroad or use your phone as a hotspot, the lower-priced plans may cover what you need.

Who should pay for Ultimate?

Ultimate tends to make sense for people who travel outside the US, rely on a phone hotspot, or plan to buy new phones often and want the best available offers. Households of four or more lines get the lowest per-line cost, which narrows the gap with other plans. A single-line customer pays the most and gets the least discount.
