Reanimal Price: Retail, Deals & Price History

Reanimal is a horror adventure game that supports one or two players. It launched with a standard edition, a deluxe edition, and a season pass for additional story episodes, so the total cost depends on how much of the extra content you want.

This guide uses list prices from Steam and the PlayStation Store in the US. Prices can differ by platform and region, and both stores run sales, so check the store you will use before you buy.

Both stores sell a Standard Edition and a Digital Deluxe Edition at the same list prices.

On the PlayStation Store, the Digital Deluxe Edition is listed as the game plus the Season Pass. Steam lists the same two editions, and the product page is the place to confirm what the Deluxe package contains on PC.

The PlayStation Store lists the extra content separately.

The Season Pass covers the story episodes that follow the main game, and The Prisoner is the first of those episodes sold individually. The mask pack is a small cosmetic add-on.

The simplest way to decide is to compare totals. The Deluxe Edition includes the Season Pass, so you can add up the Standard Edition and the Season Pass, then compare that total to the Deluxe price. Whichever is lower for the content you want is the better buy.

If you only want the main game, the Standard Edition is enough. If you expect to play the follow-up episodes, the Deluxe Edition or a later Season Pass purchase will be on your list either way.

Both stores list a free trial for Reanimal. The PlayStation Store describes it as working as a Friend's Pass: if one player owns the full game, a friend can play with them through the trial in online or couch co-op. That can save a second purchase if you play with one other person. See each store page for exactly how it works on your platform.

On PlayStation, online play needs a PlayStation Plus subscription, according to the store listing. That cost is separate from the game. On PC, Steam is the storefront.

• Sales: Steam and the PlayStation Store discount games periodically. This page lists regular prices.
• Edition: Deluxe costs more than Standard, with the Season Pass bundled in.
• Episodes: Individual episodes are extra on top of the base game.
• Region: US pricing applies to US accounts.

Prices on this page come from Steam and PlayStation Store.

Both stores list the same editions and the same prices, so the choice usually comes down to where you want to play. On PlayStation, the store page lists support for one or two players, and online play needs a PlayStation Plus subscription. On Steam, the store page shows the system requirements for your PC.

If you play with a friend, look at the trial and Friend's Pass before you buy a second copy. The trial lets a second player join if one person owns the full game. Whether that fits your plans depends on whether you play online or on the same couch, and the store listing explains both.

Check the content of the game page for age ratings too. The PlayStation listing carries a Mature rating from the ESRB, so it is not aimed at younger players.
