RTX 4060 Price: Retail, Deals & Price History

The RTX 4060 was NVIDIA's mainstream card for 1080p gaming in the 40 series. It is the cheapest of the group that people actually buy, which is why searches for its price are so common. It also has a newer successor now, so the 4060 sits in a middle position: no longer the latest, still widely owned, and still widely resold.

For shoppers, the useful question is simple. If a used 4060 costs about what the card cost new in 2023, is it worth it? This page lays out the launch numbers, the Ti siblings, and the used market so you can judge.

NVIDIA announced the 4060 and 4060 Ti cards together in May 2023. The Ti models arrived first, and the plain 4060 followed in the summer. Coverage from PC Perspective and Custom PC reports the same prices.

The Ti comes in two versions that differ in memory. The 16GB model costs more than the 8GB one, and the extra memory matters mostly for higher texture settings and some creative apps. The plain 4060 has 8GB, which is fine for 1080p.

The 4060 sells in large numbers on eBay. The figure below comes from ResalePrices and was checked on Oct 14, 2026. It is an average of asking prices, and it moves with each new listing.

Use the range as a sanity check. A listing far below it may be missing parts, have no return window, or be a different card from the one you want. A listing far above it is probably a premium model or a bundle.

It can be, if the card is in good shape and the price is clearly below what a new equivalent costs. The 4060 is efficient and quiet, and it fits most cases because many models are compact. It is also a low-power card, so it works with modest power supplies, though you should still check the connector your model needs.

Where it falls short is anything beyond 1080p with demanding settings, since 8GB of memory is limiting in newer games. If you plan to play at higher resolutions, look at a card with more memory.

The Ti costs more at launch and in the used market, and the question is whether the step up pays off.

• Plain 4060. The right fit for 1080p gaming at high settings, with low power use and a small footprint.
• 4060 Ti 8GB. A faster chip with the same memory, so it helps frame rates but not texture-heavy games.
• 4060 Ti 16GB. The same chip with more memory, aimed at players who raise texture quality or use creative software.

If the used price of a Ti sits close to a new 4060, the Ti is the better card. If the gap is large, the plain 4060 is easier to justify. Compare listings of each model on the same day before you decide.

• Model. Compact single-fan designs and larger dual-fan or triple-fan designs sell at different prices.
• Condition. Cards with original boxes, clean fans and no sign of heavy use bring more.
• Seller. Business sellers with return windows usually ask more than private ones.
• Timing. GPU markets change with new releases. Check across a few days.

1. Confirm the exact model name in the listing title and photos.
2. Look for a return policy and read seller feedback.
3. Ask whether the card was used for mining or heavy compute work.
4. Test it as soon as it arrives with a demanding game, and watch for crashes or artifacts.
5. Keep the packaging until you are sure it works.
