Nissan Frontier Price: MSRP, Trims & Real-World Cost

Midsize pickup prices depend on three things at once: the trim, the cab, and whether you want two-wheel or four-wheel drive. The Frontier lists each combination separately, so a single "starting price" only tells you about the cheapest truck in the lineup.

The figures below are 2027 model year MSRPs from AutoGuide, reporting Nissan's announced pricing in June 2026. If you are comparing against an older quote, check the model year first.

The cheapest Frontier is the S King Cab 4x2 with a 6-foot bed at $32,490. Choosing four-wheel drive on that body raises the price to $35,490.

The S Crew Cab comes with a 5-foot bed. Two-wheel drive is $33,890, and four-wheel drive is $36,890. A crew cab seats more people comfortably and gives rear passengers more room, while the King Cab keeps the entry price down.

The SV Crew Cab with a 5-foot bed lists at $36,490 in 4x2 and $39,790 in 4x4. The PRO-X Crew Cab 4x2 sits at $38,890.

The PRO-4X is the off-road-oriented trim. With a 5-foot bed it lists at $42,190, and with a 6-foot bed at $42,690. Both are 4x4 trucks, so compare them with the 4x4 SV or S rather than with the 4x2 versions.

Because the table mixes cab sizes, drivetrains, and bed lengths, make comparisons like for like. Compare the same cab and drivetrain across trims to see what each trim step costs, and compare the same trim across drivetrains to see what 4x4 costs.

Weigh the cost of each extra against how often you will use it. A work truck buyer who tows or hauls gear may care most about bed length and drivetrain. A commuter who wants a pickup for weekends may prefer the crew cab for passenger room. Decide those two points first, then look at trim.

The list covers the main body, bed, and drivetrain combinations. It does not include optional packages, special editions, or accessory bundles. A truck on a dealer lot may carry several of these, which is why the sticker on a specific vehicle can sit above the base price for its trim. Read the window sticker line by line and ask the salesperson which items are optional.

Nissan applies a destination and handling charge of $1,745 to all 2027 Frontier models. It is separate from the MSRP, so add it to any trim above to see the sticker total before options and taxes.
