Teslas Price: MSRP, Trims & Real-World Cost

Updated  5 sources

Model 3 listed price range

$38,630 – $56,630

Tesla's US lineup is smaller than it was a year ago. The Model 3 sedan, the Model Y crossover, and the Cybertruck are the vehicles still being built for sale. Tesla ended production of the Model S and Model X in May 2026, so those two now appear only as final listings.

This page keeps two kinds of price apart. Car and Driver's listed prices for the Model 3 and Model Y include destination and Tesla's order fee. The Cybertruck prices come from Tesla's configurator as reported in August 2026, and those figures do not include destination. Do not add or subtract between the two groups.

Price by model

Item Typical range Relative price range
2027 Model 3 price range (listed, incl. destination) $38,630 – $56,630
2027 Model Y price range (listed, incl. destination) $41,630 – $63,630

Model 3 and Model Y prices

Car and Driver lists the 2027 Model 3 at $38,630 – $56,630. The low end is the entry trim and the high end is the top trim, both with fees included.

The 2027 Model Y is listed at $41,630 – $63,630 on the same basis. Its entry price is higher than the Model 3's, and so is its top price, so the Model Y is the more expensive choice at every point in the range.

Neither source in this group lists each trim separately, so this page cannot give you a price for a specific trim. The Tesla configurator shows every trim and updates its prices without notice.

Cybertruck prices after the August increase

Tesla raised Cybertruck prices in August 2026, according to Not a Tesla App. The entry Dual Motor AWD is now $74,990. The Premium AWD is $84,990, and the Cyberbeast stays the most expensive at $99,990.

Cybertruck price by trim

Item Price
Cybertruck Dual Motor AWD price (Tesla configurator, Aug 2026) $74,990
Cybertruck Premium AWD price (Tesla configurator, Aug 2026) $84,990
Cybertruck Cyberbeast price (Tesla configurator, Aug 2026) $99,990

These are configurator prices without destination. Tesla's Cybertruck delivery charge is shown separately in the fees section below, and it is higher than the delivery charge on cars.

Earlier in 2026 the Cybertruck was priced lower. If you see an older figure on a different site, check its date, since the August increase changed what the truck costs today.

Model S and Model X

Tesla ended production of both cars in May 2026. Car and Driver still lists their final 2026 prices.

Discontinued models

Item Price
2026 Model S (production ended 2026) listed $111,630
2026 Model X (production ended 2026) listed $116,630

Source: Car and Driver: Tesla lineup

The 2026 Model S is listed at $111,630 and the 2026 Model X at $116,630. These are listed prices and not new-order prices, because you cannot order a new Model S or Model X from the factory. Any you find for sale are remaining inventory or used cars.

Delivery and order fees

Tesla adds fees on top of the vehicle price, and they show up in some published prices and not others.

Fees and options

Item Price
Tesla delivery charge (cars) $1,390
Tesla delivery charge (Cybertruck) $1,995
Tesla order fee $250

Source: InsideEVs: How much does a Tesla cost

InsideEVs reports a delivery charge of $1,390 for cars and $1,995 for the Cybertruck, plus an order fee of $250. InsideEVs published that in October 2025, so confirm the current amounts in Tesla's configurator before you rely on them.

Those fees explain why the same car can show two prices. A listed price that includes them is higher than a configurator price that leaves them out.

What else changes the total

  • Trim and drivetrain, since each Tesla comes in several versions.
  • Paint, wheels, and interior options.
  • Optional software such as Full Self-Driving, which is priced separately.
  • Tax credits or incentives, if you qualify under current federal and state rules.
  • Taxes, title, and registration in your state.

Tesla prices change often, sometimes within a quarter. Check the configurator on the day you order.

Buying tips

  1. Build the car on Tesla's site and write down the price before and after fees.
  2. Compare the delivered price, not the headline price, when you shop against other brands.
  3. Ask whether the car is in inventory, since inventory cars can carry different pricing from build-to-order cars.
  4. Check which incentives apply to you before you count on a lower price.
  5. Get an insurance quote for the exact trim.
