Angel Studios Price: Plans, Monthly Cost & Price History

Angel Studios streams its films and series through a membership called the Angel Guild. Members watch the library, and they also take part in decisions about which projects get made: the sign-up page says members can vote on concepts and films to decide what is greenlit next. Because the membership works as both a streaming plan and a way to back new projects, people often ask what it actually costs before they commit.

The plan prices here come from Angel and were checked on Oct 13, 2026. Prices are in US dollars. Angel runs promotions from time to time, so confirm the current offer on the official Angel Guild page before you sign up.

There are two plans on the sign-up page. Basic with Ads starts at $12/mo per month. The ad-free Basic plan costs $18/mo per month when billed monthly.

Basic with Ads vs. Ad-Free

• Basic with Ads ($12/mo): Streams in 1080p and costs the least. It suits anyone who does not mind interruptions.
• Basic, ad-free ($18/mo): The same 1080p streaming without commercial breaks. It also lets you share free access to shows and films with friends and family, according to the sign-up page.

The page describes the Basic with Ads price as a starting price ("from"), so read the checkout screen for the final amount in your case.

Angel also offers annual billing. For the ad-free plan, the page shows a list price of $216/yr per year, with a promotional price of $169/yr per year.

Treat the lower figure as a promotion. A promotional annual price may apply to new members or for a limited time, and it may not be the amount you pay when the plan renews. Check the renewal price at checkout before you pay. Compared with twelve months at the monthly ad-free rate, the annual plans cost less in total, but only if you will keep the membership for the full year.

That depends on what you watch. If you want a specific film or series in the library and plan to watch several titles, a few months of membership may cover it. If you only want one title, a single month may be enough, and you can cancel afterward.

The Guild also appeals to people who care about the funding model. Members take part in votes on projects, and the page mentions access to purchase tickets to VIP red carpet premieres. Those perks have no dollar value on a price list, but they may matter to you more than they do to someone who only wants a streaming library.

• Taxes: Sales tax may be added to digital subscriptions depending on your state.
• Where you sign up: Subscribing through an app store or a TV platform can follow that provider's billing rules instead of Angel's.
• Gift memberships: The site has a Gift the Guild option, which may be useful if you are buying for someone else. Check the official page for current gift pricing.
• Other tiers: Angel may offer additional membership levels or perks beyond the two shown here. Look at the official Guild page for the full list.

• Start with the plan with ads if commercials do not bother you.
• Choose annual billing only if you expect to stay for the full year.
• Check the renewal price before taking a promotional annual deal.
• Cancel after you finish the titles you came for, and rejoin when new releases appear.
