ESPN+ Price: Plans, Monthly Cost & Price History

ESPN's streaming service comes in two tiers. ESPN Select is the lower-cost plan and the one that took over from ESPN+, so if you are searching for the ESPN+ price, Select is the plan to look at. ESPN Unlimited is the full service, which streams the ESPN networks you would otherwise get through cable alongside everything in Select.

ESPN raised prices on both tiers in September 2026. The prices on this page come from the figures reported by Laughing Place in its coverage of that increase, checked on Oct 11, 2026. Bundle prices come from Hulu. Sports streaming prices change often, so confirm the current rate on ESPN's official site before you sign up.

ESPN Unlimited, shown in the answer box above, costs $31.99/mo. ESPN Select costs $13.99/mo.

ESPN Select (formerly ESPN+)

Select costs $13.99/mo. It carries the streaming-only events and the on-demand library that used to make up ESPN+, including many college games, some pro league games, and ESPN's original shows. It is the cheaper option for fans who follow particular events rather than ESPN's main TV channels.

ESPN Unlimited

Unlimited costs $31.99/mo. It adds the live ESPN networks that air the biggest games and studio shows, plus everything in Select. It is aimed at people who have cut cable but still want the full ESPN lineup. If you already get ESPN channels through a cable, satellite, or live TV streaming package, you may have access without paying for Unlimited separately; check with your provider.

Both tiers can be paid yearly. At current prices, an annual plan costs less than twelve monthly payments.

ESPN Unlimited annual costs $319.99/yr, and ESPN Select annual costs $139.99/yr. The downside is timing. Many sports fans only care about one season, and a monthly plan lets you cancel when that season ends. Paying annually makes the most sense if you follow sports across the whole calendar.

ESPN raised the prices of both streaming tiers in September 2026. Here are the monthly prices before the change:

ESPN Unlimited went from $29.99/mo to $31.99/mo. ESPN Select went from $12.99/mo to $13.99/mo. The annual plans rose as well, to $319.99/yr for Unlimited and $139.99/yr for Select.

Existing subscribers typically move to the new price at a later billing date after a notice. New subscribers pay the new rate from the start. If you subscribe through a bundle or a third party, any change to your price depends on that provider's own terms.

Disney also sells ESPN Unlimited in a bundle with Disney+ and Hulu. These prices are listed on Hulu.

The standard bundle costs $35.99/mo, and the Premium version, with ad-free Disney+ and Hulu, costs $44.99/mo. If you would pay for Disney+ or Hulu anyway, the bundle may cost less than subscribing to each service on its own. Compare the bundle price with the standalone ESPN Unlimited price plus whatever you already pay for the other services.

Hulu + Live TV also includes ESPN Select, along with live channels. That option costs much more and makes sense only if you also want a cable replacement.

ESPN streams are subject to blackout rules for some games, depending on your location and the league's rights deals. A game you expect to stream may be unavailable in your area, or available only on a local channel. Check the event page before buying a plan for a specific game.

Depending on your state and city, sales tax or local fees may be added to your bill. Pay-per-view events, such as some combat sports cards, are sold separately and are not included in either tier.

• Choose Select if the events you follow stream there, since it costs much less than Unlimited.
• Check whether your current TV provider already includes ESPN access.
• Pay annually if you watch year-round; subscribe monthly for a single season.
• Compare the Disney+, Hulu, ESPN Unlimited bundle if you also use Disney+ or Hulu.
