Total Gym Cost: Membership Prices, Fees & Plans

Total Gym is better known for its incline resistance machines than for gym memberships. When people search for the cost, they usually mean one of two things: the subscription for guided workouts, or the price of the machine. This page covers both, because the machine is the larger expense and the subscription is the recurring one.

The membership prices come from Total Gym TV. Equipment prices come from Total Gym's own product pages, checked Oct 14, 2026. Both change with promotions, so confirm the figure on the checkout page before you buy.

Total Gym TV is the company's streaming library of workouts. The monthly plan costs $11.95/mo, and the page advertises a free seven-day trial. The annual plan costs $119.50/yr and is marketed as two months free. Both give access to the library, according to the provider.

A review from TopConsumerReviews says older machines came with a basic membership included, and that this has been replaced by a trial and a paid subscription. If you buy a machine, check the box or product page for what the purchase includes, because the offer may change.

Prices run from the entry model to commercial equipment. The product pages show a current price and, for some models, a higher crossed-out list price. The numbers here are the current prices.

The FIT Anniversary Edition costs $999 at the moment, and the EVOLVE costs $1,599. Both pages show a higher list price crossed out, so the sale price could change. The GTS costs $3,995 and has no sale price listed.

The ELEVATE and RS lines are built for studios, clinics and serious home users, and they cost more.

ELEVATE Row costs $1,595. ELEVATE Encompass costs $4,295, and RS Encompass costs $4,795. Check the product pages for what each model includes, since the setup and accessories differ.

Accessories add to the total. The Pilates package costs $724 on Total Gym's site, and the CycloTrainer 2 costs $249.95.

Total Gym also sells individual attachments, and the cost of the ones you want can add up quickly. Decide what you need before comparing totals.

Walmart lists a Total Gym FIT at $999, the same figure as Total Gym's current price for its FIT Anniversary Edition at the time of checking. An Ab Crunch attachment there costs $179.99.

Retailer prices and models can differ from the brand's site, and discounts come and go. Compare the exact model name and what is included before choosing where to buy.

A machine is a long-term purchase, so a few questions are worth answering up front. How much floor space does it need when it is set up and when it is stored? What does the price include, and which attachments do you have to buy separately? Is the price on the page a sale price, and when does the offer end? What is the return policy if the machine does not suit you, and who pays for return shipping on a heavy item? Total Gym's pages and the seller's checkout will answer most of these, and a short call to the seller can settle the rest.

If you mainly want guided sessions, you can compare the cost of the video membership with other fitness apps and with a local gym membership before deciding. The membership only makes sense if you plan to use the library regularly.
