ViX Premium is the paid tier of ViX, the Spanish-language streaming service from TelevisaUnivision. It offers novelas, series, movies and live channels in Spanish, and it comes in two versions in the United States: one with ads and one without ads on its original programming. Each version can be billed monthly or yearly, so there are four prices to know.

The monthly prices come from ViX Help and the annual prices from ViX Help, both ViX's own help center. Streaming prices change, and ViX has changed its U.S. pricing recently, so confirm the amount on ViX's sign-up page before you subscribe. The same prices apply to Puerto Rico, according to the help center.

ViX Premium with ads, called Con Anuncios, is $6.99/mo. The no-ads version, called Sin Anuncios, is $10.99/mo.

The with-ads plan is the cheaper entry point and shows limited ads. The no-ads plan costs more and removes ads from ViX Original series and movies. ViX notes that other content on that plan may still show ads, so the plan is ad-light rather than fully ad-free. ViX also sells yearly plans in the United States and Puerto Rico. The with-ads annual plan is $54.99/yr. The no-ads annual plan is $84.99/yr.

Paying for a year gives you a lower cost per month than paying monthly, but you pay once and commit to the full term. ViX says the first year is billed at the annual price and renews automatically at the rate in effect at renewal. Your renewal price can therefore change, which is worth checking before the year ends.

The with-ads plan suits people who watch occasionally, have a short list of shows and do not mind ads. The no-ads plan is more useful for heavy viewers of ViX Originals, since that is where the ad reduction applies. If you are not sure, begin with the monthly plan, since you can switch to annual later if you keep using the service.

Annual billing makes sense when ViX is a regular part of your household viewing, such as following several novelas through a season. Monthly billing is better for a single show or event, because you can cancel once you finish.

Listed prices are before taxes, which may be added at checkout. The amount can also depend on how you subscribe. Subscribing through a device store or another partner may bill differently from signing up on ViX's own site.
