Land Rover Price: MSRP, Trims & Real-World Cost
Range Rover family starting MSRP
$49,900 – $113,300
Range Rover models start between $49,900 for the Evoque and $113,300 for the full-size Range Rover, before destination. Defender and Discovery are priced separately below.
Land Rover sells three families in the US: Range Rover, Defender, and Discovery. Each has its own pricing ladder, and the gap between the cheapest and the dearest model is far larger than most shoppers expect when they search for a single price.
Every figure here is a base Manufacturer's Suggested Retail Price from Land Rover USA, with pricing effective April 1, 2026. Land Rover states that the price excludes the destination charge, tax, title, license, retailer fees, and optional equipment, so each number below is where a build starts, not where it ends.

Range Rover prices by model
The Range Rover family runs from the Evoque at $49,900 up through the Velar at $61,600 and the Range Rover Sport at $83,700. The full-size Range Rover is the top of the family at $113,300.
The headline range at the top of this page covers only these four models, because they appear together on one Land Rover page. The Defender and Discovery lines are on separate pages and are shown in the table above.
Defender prices
The Defender comes in several body lengths, and the name tells you which. The two-door Defender 90 starts at $61,000. The Defender 110 is $65,000, and the longer Defender 130 is $74,000.
The Defender Octa sits far above the rest at $158,800. If you compare it with the 90, the Octa is a different kind of purchase, so decide early whether you are shopping the main range or the top version.
Discovery prices
The Discovery lists at $64,900 and the smaller Discovery Sport at $49,900. The Discovery Sport shares its starting price with the Range Rover Evoque, so those two are the cheapest vehicles in the Land Rover lineup.
Destination charges
Destination is a separate line on every Land Rover sticker and it changes by model. It is not included in any starting figure above.
Destination charges
| Item | Price |
|---|---|
| Defender destination/handling charge | $1,950 |
| Range Rover destination/handling charge | $2,450 |
| Range Rover Sport destination/handling charge | $1,850 |
| Discovery Sport destination/handling charge | $1,275 |
The Defender carries $1,950, the Range Rover Sport $1,850, and the Range Rover $2,450. The Discovery Sport has the lowest at $1,275. Land Rover's footnote lists the remaining models as well, so check it for the Velar, Evoque, and Discovery if you need those figures.
Add the destination charge to the starting MSRP to get a delivered price before options. For example, a Defender buyer should read the Defender starting price together with the Defender destination charge, not alone.
What pushes a Land Rover above its starting price
- Engine and trim choices within each model.
- Paint, wheels, and interior upgrades.
- Option packages for off-road equipment, towing, or tech.
- Special editions and the Octa version of the Defender.
- Retailer fees, which Land Rover says are separate.
Because starting prices are low compared with a well-equipped build, ask for the full window sticker rather than the base number when you compare dealers.
Choosing between the families
If you want the lowest entry price, look at the Evoque and Discovery Sport, which share a starting figure. If you want a rugged shape with a body-length choice, the Defender is the one that offers it. If you want the most luxurious version, the Range Rover is priced accordingly.
None of these prices reflect the used market. Pre-owned Land Rovers can cost much less than new ones, but they also vary widely in condition and service history, so have any used example inspected before you buy.
Questions to ask before you buy
- Is the price quoted the base MSRP, or the total MSRP with destination?
- Which options are already on this vehicle?
- Are there retailer fees in addition to tax, title, and license?
- Does the vehicle qualify for any manufacturer offer or incentive?
- What does the extended warranty or service plan cost, if offered?
