The price itself has moved up more than once in recent years, which is why older quotes you find online are often wrong.

The monthly plan is $7.99/mo, billed every month. HIDIVE lists it as including access to the full library, offline viewing through downloads, and streaming on up to two devices at a time.

The annual plan is $79.99/yr, billed once for the year. HIDIVE advertises it as a saving compared with paying twelve monthly charges, so it is the cheaper route if you are sure you will keep watching. If you may drop the service after a season or two, the monthly plan avoids a large upfront payment.

There is no tiered ladder of plans here. Both options carry the same library and the same features; the difference is how you pay and for how long.

The most recent change moved the monthly price from $6.99/mo to $7.99/mo for new subscribers starting July 1, 2026, according to FandomWire. Existing subscribers were reportedly notified by email and moved to the new rate after that. The change before it, in July 2025, took the monthly price from $5.99/mo to $6.99/mo.

If you subscribed a while ago, check your billing emails and account page. The amount you are charged may depend on when you joined and when the notice reached you.

Anime viewing is often seasonal. Many people subscribe for a particular series, finish it and cancel. For that pattern, monthly billing lets you stop at any time and pay only for the months you watch.

The annual plan makes more sense if HIDIVE is one of your regular services. You pay once, and you are not exposed to a mid-year increase on the monthly rate, although the renewal price can change when the year ends. Read the terms at checkout. Annual plans can renew automatically, and refund rules for a partly used year are set by the service.
