Peacock Subscription Price: Plans, Monthly Cost & Price History

Peacock is NBCUniversal's streaming service. It carries NBC and Bravo shows, movies from Universal, original series, and a large slate of live sports and events. There are three paid tiers, and each one comes as a monthly or an annual plan, so the real cost depends on the tier and on how you choose to pay.

Peacock raised prices across all tiers in August 2026. The figures on this page come from the price list published by Droid Life in its report on that increase, and we checked them on Oct 11, 2026. Prices for streaming services change often, so confirm the current rate on Peacock's official site before you subscribe.

Peacock sells three tiers: Select, Premium, and Premium Plus. The table below shows the monthly price of each tier other than Premium, which appears in the answer box above at $12.99/mo.

Peacock Select

Select costs $8.99/mo and is the cheapest way into Peacock. It focuses on the on-demand library of shows and movies. It is a fit if you mainly want to binge NBC and Bravo series and do not care about live sports or events. Check the plan details on the official site, since Select leaves out content included in the higher tiers.

Peacock Premium

Premium, at $12.99/mo, is the standard plan and the one most people mean when they ask what Peacock costs. It includes the full library plus live sports and events, with ads. For sports fans it is usually the lowest tier worth considering.

Peacock Premium Plus

Premium Plus costs $19.99/mo. It removes most ads and adds extras such as downloads for offline viewing. Some live content and a few titles may still carry ads because of licensing. Pick it if you watch a lot and commercials bother you.

Each tier is available as a one-time yearly payment. If you know you will keep Peacock all year, the annual plan costs less than paying monthly for twelve months at current prices.

The tradeoff is flexibility. A monthly plan lets you cancel after a season ends, such as when the sport you follow wraps up. With an annual plan you pay up front and lock in that tier for the year. Many viewers subscribe monthly around major events and cancel in between, which can work out cheaper than a full year if you only watch part of the time.

The August 2026 increase raised the monthly price of every tier. Here are the monthly prices before the change:

Premium went from $10.99/mo to $12.99/mo, Select from $7.99/mo to $8.99/mo, and Premium Plus from $16.99/mo to $19.99/mo. Annual plans went up as well, to the prices shown in the annual table above.

Existing subscribers usually see a new price at a later billing date, after a notice from the service. New subscribers pay the new price right away. If you were billed the old rate recently, check your email or account page for the date your price changes.

The listed price may not be your final charge. Depending on your state and city, sales tax or local fees may be added to a streaming subscription.

You may also be able to get Peacock through a third party, such as an internet or mobile provider, a TV package, or an app store. In those cases the price, billing date, and included tier can differ from what Peacock charges directly. If you already have Peacock through a bundle, check which tier it includes before paying for a separate subscription.
